CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) - Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong has identified the man accused of abducting a child Monday morning, May 4, 2020.
Kahlil Deshaun Williams, 24, is in the Carson City Jail, facing felony charges of Kidnapping, Attempted Sexual Assault of a Minor Under 14, Lewdness with a Minor Under 14, and a Gross Misdemeanor charge of False Imprisonment.
Williams was found Monday evening at Mills Park in Carson City, based on a tip.
The Sheriff's Office alerted the public after a man reportedly lured a child into his car on Hot Springs Road just north of Northgate Lane, drove around, then dropped the child off.
Williams is being held on $250,000 Bail. He is said to have violent tendencies and has had contact with law enforcement in the Reno, Sparks and Carson City areas for at least the last two years.
